Community Cleanups

Let’s Keep Our Community Clean.

After working to reduce our waste production, the next step is to pick up after our fellow humans. Walking for a few hours to remove litter is an easy action, but it has a huge impact! Let’s work together to give our community a fighting chance.

Keep Pensacola Beautiful hosts many community and beach cleanups throughout the year. To participate in an upcoming event, checkout our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.

Host a Cleanup!

Keep Pensacola Beautiful will provide your group with the resources necessary to complete your very own cleanup in Escambia County.

Groups larger than 20 people may request the attendance of a KPB Staff member at their cleanup.

Plan in Advance

Our cleanup equipment is lent out on a first-scheduled, first-served basis so it is highly recommended to coordinate with us at least one month in advance. The most popular spot that is requested is Pensacola Beach.

Schedule Your Cleanup

Call us at 850-438-1178 or email us at volunteer@keeppensacolabeautiful.org to express your interest. Please provide the date, time, requested location, and the estimated number of volunteers that will be in attendance.

Choose Your Location

If you are unsure, Keep Pensacola Beautiful can suggest areas in need of constant cleanup attention within the city and county. Beach cleanups are the most popular and can provide stunning scenery and lots of vitamin D, but also require more intense safety precautions. These regulations are outlined here.

Annual International Cleanup Events

June

World Oceans Day Cleanup

World Oceans Day Cleanup is an annual movement, during World Ocean’s Month, that encourages communities around the world to protect these important waters by cleaning up their coastlines. Our Corner proudly participates in this event, taking place on a Saturday in June.

September

International Coastal Cleanup

Organized by the Ocean Conservancy, International Coastal Cleanup is the largest annual global cleanup effort to remove litter from our beloved beaches. Our Corner does our part by hosting a cleanup each year in September in partnership with Surfing’s Evolution and Preservation Foundation.
