Youth Advocacy Council
Join the Youth Advocacy Council
The Youth Advocacy Council is a new initiative in Escambia County. It replaces the Youth Advisory Council. Our goal with this progam is to engage students in every school within in Escambia County to advocate for the environment and the beauty of our community. Students will have the opportunity to earn critical service-learning hours and develop important leadership skills. Each school will be provided with resources to assist in the cleanup of the campus and the surrounding areas with the support of Keep Pensacola Beautiful. Students will also have the opportunity to contribute to Keep Pensacola Beautiful's programming, participate in training sessions, and visit local municipalities/businesses, while acting as ambassadors and leaders for environmental and beautification efforts in Escambia County.
The Youth Advocacy Council will be selected no later than September 2023. Serving on the Youth Advocacy Council also makes you eligible to serve on the Keep Florida Beautiful Youth Council and/or the Keep America Beautiful Youth Council.
